Linda Blackwell was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2008 at the age of 42. Symptoms in the first year surfaced as merely numbness in the feet. By 2009, nastier symptoms developed, including painful spasms, wall walking with shakes, binding in the stomach and extremely painful, knife-stabbing attacks of the feet, hands and heart.
Well... her mission began to try to put a stop to THAT!
Through searching the internet she discovered MS Direct and began to "Eat her way out it!"
She spearheaded the development of SexyMSRecipes.com with the dedication of Chef Dallas Suttie, the internet genius of his brother Daryl Suttie and the video producing efforts of her ever vigilant and biggest fan Tim Tester.
Special Mention to the bestest friends in the whole wide world, Andy and Lisa Robinson who encourage the food revolution. And to Mom....because she is so cool.
Interesting to note Linda finds MS "attacks" when she "cheats" (ie: eat the pizza, drink the coke, lick the ice cream). Also if she "overdoes it" and gets too tired.
She is living proof that in her case DIET triggers MS Attacks. Eat the wrong foods and pay the price.
Her mission is to share delicious recipes with other MS sufferers with the hope they may be healthy and SEXY as well.
